Meet-the-Greeks

•  Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the Mckee Breezeway, 10am-2pm. This event allows you to casually meet members from all of UNC’s fraternities and sororities and gain specific information on how to join each type of Greek organization. 

Panehellenic Sorority Recruitment

Fall Recruitment will take place September 8-12. Participants must register on the Greek Life website  by 5pm September 7th. Registration fee is $40 

Schedule of Events:

• Thursday, September 8th - Getting to Know You, 5:00pm - 11:00pm

• Friday, September 9th - House Tours, 5:30pm - 11:00pm

• Saturday, September 10th - Philanthropy/Chapter Emphasis, 1:30pm-6:30pm

• Sunday, September 11th - Preference, 5:30pm - 9:00pm

• Monday, September 12th - Bid Day, 5:15pm-7:00pm

District 7 District Days!

Over the weekend of February 11-13, five members of Beta Beta and two advisors flew to Dallas to take part in Alpha Sigma Alpha's District 7 District Days!

These Beta Beats met with ladies from other chapters that came from schools in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Utah, and Colorado.

The workshop was all day on Saturday, February 12, with a range of lectures discussing conflict resolution, recruitment, advising, leadership, social networking, and finances.  There were many great ideas exchanged, and contacts made.

Spring Recruitment will take place February 8th- 11th.  Participants must  register by 5pm on Monday, February 7th.  Registration is free.  Please fill out the registration form and return to the Student Activities Office on the 2nd level of the University Center. 

Schedule of events:

• Tuesday, February 8th – House Tours, 6pm-10pm
  Participants will be escorted to all five chapter houses
• Wednesday, February 9th – Chapter Open House Events, 6pm-10pm
  Chapters will host open house events that participants can attend as desired
• Thursday, February 10th – Invitational Events, 6pm-10pm
  Chapters will host events by invitation only
• Friday, February 11th – Bid Distribution, 10am-2pm

Chili Night!

Come spice up your night by coming to the Alpha Sigma Alpha house for a chili-cook off and a chance to win spectacular prizes!  We will have many different kinds of chili's ranging from very spicy to mild.  It's only $3 per person and will go to help raise money for our philanthropy: S.June Smith Center

Bring your friends and swing by for dinner and try all the delicious chili's!  The Alpha Sig girls look forward to seeing you!
